New Software increases reach with support for Firewall Traversal and more!
 



TANDBERG's FieldView™ is the most innovative solution in mobile video collaboration and with the latest software, this product is even better! New software will soon be available that offers the following enhanced features.




Enhanced Features

  • SIP Firewall Traversal with the TANDBERG VCS
  • Stream directly from the PC application to the FieldView™ device for quick training or protocol updates to field personnel
  • Improved wireless network capabilities and monitoring
  • More to be announced in Q1 2008!

Experia Software Upgrade - Coming soon!


 


TANDBERG will soon release a "dot release" for Experia which will increase call scenario flexibility. This software is expected to be available in mid-December 2007.




Sell Experia!
  • More flexible for call scenarios
  • Ability to have a total of 4 Experia sites and multiple H.323 video systems at the same time
  • Ability to include audio only sites or audio conference services as participants
  • Required and recommended that Touch Panel upgrade coincides with upgrading the system to F6.2 software

Reason for Discontinuance:
The TANDBERG MCU is being phased out due to the availability of overlapping feature capabilities of products now offered in the TANDBERG portfolio.



Support


  • TANDBERG will continue to support the TANDBERG MCU units according to the terms and conditions set forth in existing contracts. In addition, maintenance contracts for the TANDBERG MCU can still be purchased for service, parts replacement, and software upgrades.
  • Support for the TANDBERG MCU will be available after the last customer shipment for a period of four (4) years on hardware and six (6) years on software.
  • TANDBERG will continue to offer software updates for the TANDBERG MCU that will be available through your maintenance contract.
